Navigating the School

From looking at the map, you might think Cairine Wilson is a maze of hallways. Most grade nines get confused on their first day. Don’t worry! When you get to school, find any Link Crew Leader and they will take you to class! We all wear white t-shirts for the first week of school and are here for your navigational needs!
Remember: There are TWO different upstairs and they do not connect in the middle! There were renovations done in the last couple of decades and they didn’t connect the upstairs (we are aware of how inconvenient it is).
School Schedule
Once you get your scheduled classes, your first class will be your homeroom and Period 1 class. Your morning classes will switch places and your afternoon classes will do the same. On Day 1, you have your homeroom first and on Day 2, your homeroom is your second class. It can sound complicated but with practice you'll get the hang of it!

Odd days (i.e. the 27th is an odd number, so it’s day 1)

9:30am - 10:45am
Transition Time
10:45am - 10:50am
Period 2
10:50am - 12:05pm
Lunch (50 mins)
12:05pm - 12:55pm
Period 3
12:55pm - 2:10pm
Transition Time
2:10pm - 2:15pm
Period 4
2:15pm - 3:30pm
Day 2
Even days (i.e. the 8th is an even number, so it’s day 2)

Being on time is very important! It not only helps you learn as much as you can, but it also teaches you time management and self regulation.
In addition, your yearly format will change to a semester system:

Cairine Wilson has a code of conduct that all students should be following. Take a look to make sure you are following the rules on conduct, academics, discipline, etc. Please be mindful of your actions when in school, you represent Cairine Wilson as a whole so your behavior is important.
